dc.description.abstract | The microscope is a precision instrument with optical subsystems (lenses, filters, prisms, condensers); mechanical subsystems controlling the position of the sample in tri- dimensional space X, Y, Z; electrical (transformers and light source) and electronic subsystems (cameras, video, etc.) interacting to amplify and control the image formation of objects which are not detectable to the human eye. To observe samples, it is essential to prepare these according to techniques which emphasize details to be observed. | en_US |
