dc.description.abstract	The drying oven is used in the laboratory for drying and sterilizing glass and metal containers. Manufacturers have developed several types of drying oven for that purpose: some operate by natural convection or by forced convection, others by gravity convection. In general, the ovens operate between room temperature and 350 °C. They are also known as hot air oven, or poupinel or pupinel.	en_US
